The Android platform that was once considered undesirable has successfully set its foot into the competitive mobile phone industry. With the increasing number of Android handsets emerging, it definitely has loads to offer this festive season.
The news has it that the newest entrant to woo the phone users is supposedly an Android powered offering from LG, reports Phandroid. Reportedly, a German website Chip Online spotted the LG Etna which is LG’s first Android based creation.
The LG Etna was spotted at the Vodafone booth, says the reports. Keeping up to the latest high-end trends, it adorns a touchscreen that slides sideways to reveal a full QWERTY keypad. Looking at the keypad, it would seemingly be a breeze to type in.
Though not much was revealed about the phone, a few specs disclosed appear to be good enough. A large 3-inch display, Bluetooth, USB and 5 megapixel camera make it to the handset’s spec sheet so far.
It isn’t clear when Vodafone plans to launch this dainty device. Neither is the pricing revealed. However, hope it makes it to the markets by the festive season.
